DMCA Policy

Tv Thread respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we have implemented procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement related to content hosted on or accessed through our website.

If you are the copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, you may submit a formal DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement as described below. Upon receipt of a valid Notice, Tv Thread will, at its sole discretion, take the appropriate action, including removal or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content.

How to File a DMCA Notice

To report a copyright violation, please send us a written communication that includes all of the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, including a specific URL or location on our site where the material is located, so that we can find and review it.
  3. Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. The following statement:
    “I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use).”
  5. The following statement:
    “The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
  6. A copy of your legal documentation proving ownership of the copyrighted material.
  7. Your electronic or physical signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act on your behalf.

Important: Title 17 U.S. Code § 512(f) provides penalties for any party that knowingly and materially misrepresents information in a DMCA notification, including liability for damages and attorney’s fees.

Tv Thread reserves the right to remove content or disable access as it deems necessary upon reviewing a valid DMCA claim. We may also terminate user access in the case of repeated infringement.

This process does not limit our right to pursue additional remedies for copyright infringement, whether legal or administrative.
